Server consolidation Program

We helped our global customer to consolidate the servers from the individual sites around the globe to 3 regional datacentres.

4Innova helped us consolidate server infrastructure from various locations around the world into 3 regional data centers. This project was very challenging mainly due to concerns related to application performance when hosted centrally instead of at individual sites, however 4Innova helped us solve these issues as well.

In the words of the hosting manager, the company was able to achieve savings of €1 million per year due to operational efficiency, unification of the environment and consolidation of different licenses ( vMWare, Microsoft, SQL, etc.).

This project has helped to significantly simplify operational and upgrade tasks, as the number of sites and individual infrastructure accesses has been reduced to a minimum, says Datacenter Hosting Manager.
